After researching, we were unable to locate the building code adoption ordinance. Augusta County, VA falls under the jurisdiction of the state of Virginia.
The state of Virginia enforces the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (VUSBC) (based upon the ICC body of codes). Va. Code Ann. § 36-105.

Effective 09/04/2018, the state of Virginia adopted the 2015 Virginia Residential Code.
